WHY I CREATE WORLDS

At the height of my success in music, I walked away from a path that had brought me national recognition, status and creative influence.

Not because it had failed me, but because an inner call had become too loud to ignore.

I needed to give full focus to an obsession that had been shaping up for years: metaphysics, consciousness and the workings of the mind.

After leaving the band, I travelled across continents and began painting.

Not as a career move, but as a way to give form to an expanding thirst for expression.

I began dissecting the invisible patterns that shape us.

Our subconscious programs – quietly directing our lives from beneath the surface.

The worlds I create come from that ongoing unfolding toward greater freedom.

Animals, industrial cityscapes, underwater worlds, mushrooms and mist-covered dreamscapes keep surfacing in what I create.

Archetypal symbols in the Jungian sense.

Images that belong not only to the personal imagination, but to the deeper field of the collective unconscious.

Beneath all of this, I am trying to translate a feeling:

A feeling of wonder, beauty, expansion.

That reality is larger than we were taught to believe.

Echoes of an eternal realm.

I do not make work to decorate reality.

I make work to open it wider.
